Intuitive Surgical Completes Public Offering
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 2003--Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (Nasdaq:ISRG) today announced that it has completed its public offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock at a purchase price of $14.50 per share. The net proceeds to the Company were approximately $67.7 million. The Company now has approximately 32.2 million shares outstanding.
Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. was lead manager for the offering. Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray Inc. were co-managers. The underwriters have an option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares.
